G-pen and The Passion

Just got the G-pen in from Japan today. I've played around with crow quills and round quills but could never find a good use for them, since they were still pretty limited in line flexibility. For the longest time I've stuck to using technical pens and they've worked pretty well, but still you only get one line width with each pen. Though the tech pens come in a lot of different sizes you still can't make a single line change in width instantaneously.

Well this G-pen nib has been everything I hoped for. It's REALLY easy to use and the control allows me to get the real look I've been trying to achieve in my work. I kinda feel nerdy but at the same time this is a real jump forward for my artwork.

I don't know how the rest of you feel about your work, or a lot of things, but I just....have to get better. It's gonna happen and I can't stop, can't let go of it....i want to be better and better.

Sounds a bit cliche or cheesy maybe, but we can't give in to the worlds distractions and peoples words about abandoning the passion. That's what makes things great and meaningful is that they push past the rest of world that's too ignorant to understand, and too scared to dream and to give everything to make it happen. I'd rather die than let life stop me now.

  1. That pen was pretty snazzy.

You and Zach are the two most dedicated artists that I've ever met. You both have improved leaps and bounds over the time that I've known you. I wish that I could steal some of that enthusiasm from the work that you do.

If your pen collection grows as much as your talents then you're going to need a bigger backpack. :P
